Goodine’s Poultry Farm

OWNER(S)

Chris Goodine

AT FREDERICTON BOYCE MARKET SINCE 1951

“We started in 1951 and have been here every weekend since,” Mindi says, recounting the dedication she saw in her family growing up in the business. She now helps run the stand and her family business. Goodine’s Poultry Farm supplies eggs all over the region and are the preferred choice of many bakeries at the Market, as well.

Their bestsellers, the rare double-yolk eggs, have kept market-goers coming back for generations! As the Goodines have passed their farming tradition through five generations , their customers have been passing on their market tradition through their families, as well!

As one of the only farms in New Brunswick that still grades its eggs, Goodine’s sells Grade A and Grade B eggs, all from all-natural, grain-fed chickens. Mindy says she often hears the misconception that brown eggs are more nutritional than white, but says the colour is only determined by the variety of chicken and there is no difference in the nutritional value.
