Community Produce

This agrarian community just outside Woodstock produces all of its products without the use of GMOs, chemicals, motors or electricity, relying instead on natural alternatives, manual labour and old-fashioned horse farming techniques.

The Gerber family, led by Peter Gerber, from Ontario to New Brunswick in 1994. They’ve been joined by three other families that now form a community of approximately 30 people.

Collectively, they work together on their 11-acre farm, producing high-quality fruits and vegetables as well as honey and maple syrup. On top of the abundance of produce they‘ve been offering at the Market since 2008, they are a self-sufficient community that rarely purchases supplementary food items except for a few spices and salt. Their lifestyle and business revolve around cherishing the family unit while living a modest, responsible and sustainable way of life.
