Iqbal & Mohamed Fagir
AT FREDERICTON BOYCE MARKET SINCE 2008
Mild or hot, how do you like your samosas?
For Iqbal Abdel-Karim and Mohamed Fagir, Yummy Samosas is more than just a business. It’s a way for the family of seven to share their Sudanese culture through food, and for Iqbal and Mohamed to teach their children valuable skills.
Iqbal, who started as a henna artist at the market in 1995, now makes samosas full-time from recipes she’s been refining for over 35 years. She only uses fresh, hand-picked ingredients – no preservatives here! Her husband, Mohamed, works alongside her, managing their business.
Visit the Fagirs to try their famous samosas, including varieties such as chickpea, spinach and ricotta, and feta and olive!
