For Iqbal Abdel-Karim and Mohamed Fagir, Yummy Samosas is more than just a business. It’s a way for the family of seven to share their Sudanese culture through food, and for Iqbal and Mohamed to teach their children valuable skills.
Iqbal, who started as a henna artist at the market in 1995, now makes samosas full-time from recipes she’s been refining for over 35 years. She only uses fresh, hand-picked ingredients – no preservatives here! Her husband, Mohamed, works alongside her, managing their business.
