Tissage Magély Weaving

Lyne and Gerald Levesque

Did you know you could get House & Home magazine featured blankets and throws at the market?

Gérald and Lyne Levesque of Tissage Magély Weaving share their passion each week through an art form that has been practiced in the family for 2 generations now. Gérald has practiced since the age of twelve, taught by his mother who weaved for 57 years! Lyne soon took up the art upon meeting Gérald and the couple now proudly showcase their work around the country including a feature in House and Home magazine in 2013!

Each blanket is handwoven with care using their own patterns at their home in Drummond, NB. Their basement is overtaken by their looms where they spend the majority of their time weaving. With each queen sized blanket taking approximately 16 hours total and requiring the labour of two people, their products are always made with love and an undeniable attention to detail.
Choose your blanket or throw made from wool or cotton, and tea towels and placemats from linen or cotton. Whatever the choice, you’re sure to have a piece of art that’s not only practical but also adds a beautiful handmade touch to your home!
