This stall is also known as the laughing corner (or liar’s corner, depending on who you ask) of the Market.

With a constant flow of friends and market-goers popping by to share a laugh, Phil Fanjoy and his friends say the corner has become a tradition they couldn’t do without after 30 years.

Phil, a self-taught woodworker, is better known as “Tiny” at the market. He hand-carves pieces from local wood with extreme precision. He’s happy to take on custom orders, too – served with a side of laughter, of course.

So come share a laugh, meet some new friends and take home a one-of-a-kind piece that’ll be cherished for years to come!
