KC’s Critters

What started with repurposing an old bike turned into a full-fledged hobby for David Caissie, who began creating metal critters from scrap metal 19 years ago.

A welder by trade, his hobby is closely related to his job but allows him to explore his creative side, recycling scrap metals and other finds into decorative pieces. David usually works without a clear plan, letting his imagination be his guide.

His most recognizable pieces are the bob-birds, which are often spotted bobbing in the courtyard and are a favourite among our youngest market-goers!
