It all started with a search for a spoon rack for Joyce Pitre’s collection, but when they couldn’t find one, Joe’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to craft one himself. From there, Joe took up the hobby of woodworking. Before they knew it, with the support of friends and family, it had turned into a business!

Over the years, as their business expanded, their product line did too! Inspired by their customers, Joe and Joyce continue evolving their line of products to include more variety and textures.

Joe, the self-taught woodworker and namesake for the business, works with a variety of hardwoods, including local maple, birch and oak, to craft long-lasting, durable products. Joyce completes the team by sanding and finishing the goods before they hit the stall at the market.

With 36 years behind them, the Pitres are committed to offering a handcrafted product built to last – with some customers telling them their cutting boards have lasted over 20 years with proper care!
