One of Brian Scribner’s pens can take anywhere from 8 to 40 hours to make.

Brian spends the bulk of his time in his studio just outside Fredericton doing what he loves – handcrafting pens.

His precise work begins as a simple block of wood or a variety of other materials, which he sands down and carefully drills through to allow space for the ink cartridge. Everything gets assembled and polished down to create the unique selection of pens he sells inside the market every Saturday.
