Growing up in Vietnam, Helen of Betty Lee Foods always saw her mom and grandma in the kitchen preparing popular Vietnamese dishes. So when the opportunity arose a couple years ago to acquire the Betty Lee Foods business, Helen jumped at the chance.
As she exchanges a few words with customers, she’s busy heating up food and restocking – Helen says she’s always busy! She offers her customers various options, including gluten-free and vegetarian choices, so that she can cater to a wide variety of dietary needs and requests.
Customer favourites include her Vietnamese bread, golden crispy samosas and spring rolls – a very popular Vietnamese street food!
