Scott Family Christmas Tree Farms & Dumfries Maple

Scott Family Christmas Tree Farms has been sending a large Christmas tree to Harvard University for many years. The tree at the Legislative Assembly building in downtown Fredericton is also theirs!

What started as a hobby soon became a full-time job for Don Scott, who began bringing his children, Jane and Nathan, to the market when they were still in school. When they’re not selling Christmas trees, greenery and wreaths, you can find them at the Dumfries Maples stand, where the Scott family comes year-round with their maple syrup.

Whether it’s shearing and planting their balsam fir trees in the summer, tapping maples in the spring or running the business year-round, the Scott family is passionate about what they do and is pleased to be able to share their passion at the market!
