From Scratch Bakery

Georgina Gere immigrated to Canada from Germany, where she developed a passion for baking. Throughout her life, she shared the art of bread-making with friends whenever they would come to her house for supper. They would always encourage her to start a business.

She decided to share her passion with the people of Fredericton through From Scratch Bakery. Nowadays at the market, she brings together her family recipes from Germany as well as a few of her own that she’s developed over the years.

Georgina is a firm believer in creating all her products from scratch using the highest quality ingredients, such as stone-ground flour, and making sure to produce quality over quantity. The next time you have a loaf of Georgina’s bread, be sure to savour every bite of the three-day process it took to get there!
