Interested in renting The Market for your next event? Here’s what you need to know:
Availability
The Market is available for evening rentals Saturday to Thursday. Daytime rentals run from Sunday to Thursday, with some restrictions. We’re located in a residential neighbourhood and must respect our neighbours. Music and noise must stop by 11:00 pm, and the building cleared by midnight.
Dimensions
The rental space is located in the main section of The Market. It measures 30 by 84 feet.
Facilities
There is a stage area and electrical entrance.
Capacity
The Market can accommodate 855 people standing or 210 seated.
Liability and Insurance
The Market doesn’t accept responsibility for items left in the building or liability for injury or damage to property. Appropriate event liability and tenants liability insurance to a minimum of $2 million dollars is required. You must present proof of coverage at least 15 days before your event.
Alcohol
The Market does not have a permanent liquor license. If you would like to serve beer, wine or alcohol at your event, you must get a license from the Liquor Licensing Board.
Security
Renters are responsible for providing adequate security for your event.
Smoking
The Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is a smoke-free building.
Clean-Up and Lock-Up
Renters are responsible for leaving the space clean and tidy. Rentals must remove all garbage from the building. All rented tables and chairs must be stacked at the back of the room. A security code to lock up is provided.
