Backyard Mushrooms

Little did Mike Kendrick know that his early days helping his parents gardening would later come in handy for a new business venture! Backyard Mushrooms supplies mushrooms to local restaurants. Mike sets up at the market weekly in late summer and early fall offering an array of locally grown garlic, pepper and mushroom varieties — some difficult to find even at local grocers!

From the beginning, Mike knew he wanted to offer variety and introduce people to different kinds of peppers, garlic and mushrooms they may have never seen before. While he carries some of the classics as well, he diversifies his offerings to include serrano peppers and Russian Red garlic to add an element of surprise to your dishes!
