As a best-selling Canadian author, storyteller and professional fly-tier, Peter Clark has enjoyed telling the stories of many of New Brunswick’s greats, including hockey players such as Willie O’Ree and Danny Grant. His books also contain the art of many acclaimed artists such as Mary Pratt and Bruno Bobak.

Peter has made an impact in communities across Canada through his advocacy for literature. He has donated over 3,000 books to public schools while taking his New Brunswick stories on the road. Aside from storytelling, growing up on the Nashwaak River introduced Peter to one of his greatest hobbies – fishing. He taught himself the art of fly-tying, even making a fly that was presented to Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall on their visit to Fredericton.

With a wealth of information on New Brunswick, you’ll usually find Peter tying flies. He’s happy to share a laugh and plenty of fun stories every Saturday morning at the market.
