Recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets, the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is the City’s traditional Saturday morning (6am-1pm) gathering spot downtown for fresh and healthy foods, craft, creativity and conversation. With more than 250 indoor and outdoor local suppliers from along the St. John River Heritage Corridor and across the Province, The Market (as it’s known here) is the place to discover seasonal products like fiddleheads and blueberries , ultra-fresh produce, including organics, meats & seafood, cakes & confections, breads, cheeses & homemade jams, fresh-squeezed juices & New Brunswick wines, artisan chocolates, specialty coffees & beans. Ethnic delicacies, from Chinese buns to Lebanese stuffed grape leaves and the City’s famous samosas, are also a big part of The Market tradition.  A vibrant space with one-of-a-kind gifts, colourful and quirky, finds include pottery, jewelry, paintings, textiles and lawn sculptures. Breakfast is served up on site, either inside from the restaurant or outside in either of our two Food Alleys where it’s falafel sandwiches and buffalo burgers galore.  Don't forget to check out our TWO Food Alleys.  The Food Alleys can be found by entering at the Brunswick Street entrance points or when coming out of the market building and walking through our outdoor courtyard area.  The Food Alleys and are both sides on the condominium.

2012 Calendar of Events

February 5 - Bluegrass Brunch with Alan Jeffries & Slim Pickens special guest The High Water String Band.  Doors open 10:00 am. Show 11:00am – 3:00pm. Tickets are $20.00( + service fee ) includes entrance to the show and buffet style breakfast. Online tickets available at www.shiveringsongs.com

March 24 - Concert "Hey Rosetta featuring Heavy Meadows".  Doors open at 8:00pm, Show time 9:00pm.  Tickets are on sale at Backstreet Records and Read's Newstand or buy online at www.heyrosetta.com/tour 

March 31 - Earth Hour celebration 7:30pm til 9:30pm

April 17 - Stallholders Association Annual General Meeting.  All registered vendors are invited to attend.  Meeting will start at 7:00pm.

April 21 - Wedding "White/Wuest"

May 27 - Botanic Garden Annual Plant Sale
